At the port Zarubino, a key section of the Primorye-2 transport and cargo complex, the first grain transshipment in the history was carried out. On February 29, 2020, 2,700 tons of corn were shipped at port Matsunaga (Japan).

All shipment works were carried out by the Legendagro group together with the only stevedore of Zarubino port- LLC "Seaport in Trinity Bay" (Морской порт в Бухте Троицы). In operations of transport to the seaport and further transshipment of grain cargoes onto the ship, equipment of LLC "Seaport in Trinity Bay" was used, as well as specialized equipment of Legendagro Group - 30 grain trucks and a boat mobile loader.

According to Dmitry Savenkov, general director of LLC Legendagro Primorye, in the grain year of 2019-2020 Legendagro Group plans to export up to 40 thousand tons grain and oil-bearing cargo through the port Zarubino to China, Japan and South Korea.

According to Andrey Perevalov, general director of LLC Seaport in Trinity Bay (Морской порт в Бухте Троицы), “due to its favorable geographical position, Zarubino port is a logical solution for organizing a new route for export Russian grains to markets in the Asia-Pacific region. The same choice was made by Chinese shippers, who chose Zarubino as a key link of the Primorye-2 international transport corridor, whose goal is the transit of cargo flows from Northern China.
